Did it ever occur to you whilst re-watching all the Mork and Mindy episodes on YouTube or on DVD that some of the story lines and ideas bared an uncanny resemblance to, as well as correlation to some of Robin Williams subsequent feature movies?
I did, and some of the story lines and ideas I have discovered make for interesting reading.
I have listed the episodes with the synopsis below, along with an example of a scene and role he played from a movie, which best illustrates how similar each of them are.

- Mork and the Bum Rap
Although Mork doesn't understand the concept of charity, he is determined to help Mindy raise money for the children's hospital. he tries his morkathon performance to no avail and ends up dressing as a bum to collect money.

- Mork in Never Never Land
Mork discovers that his pen-pal is living in an asylum and believes he is Peter Pan

- Mork and the Immigrant
Mork thinks Russian immigrant Sergei is an alien like him and tries to help welcome him
>> Robin plays a Russian musician who emigrates to the US in the movie, Moscow on the Hudson

- Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies
>> Death to Smoochy - Robin plays a foul- mouthed children's variety show TV presenter, Randolph Smiley
- The Mork syndrome

- Three The Hard Way
Mork gives birth to an egg via his navel. Mindy has trouble accepting that in the egg is their child.

Egg grows and hatches into a full grown, elderly man who acts like a child

- A Mommy For Morky
Mork wonders what it will be like to have had a mother. Uses his orkan age machine to regress himself to 3 years of age.

Working as a security guard in a science museum, Mork befriends a robot named Chuck, who later dies
>> Bicentennial Man - Robin plays a robot
>> Flubber - in Flubber, there is a robot named Weebo who befriends Professor Phillip Brainard and assists him. Weebo later on dies
- Hold that Mork
Mork becomes a cheerleader for the Denver Broncos football side

- Mork's Health Hints
Mindy goes to the hospital for a Tonsillectomy. But due to a typographical error, she is mistaken for another patient. Fortunately, Mork is up to the job & disguises himself as a surgeon
