Mini Retro Review: CyberTracker (1994) #notsobadmovies

CyberTracker
1994
Action

Z-movie version of The Terminator, the first 45 mins is of The Terminator and after that, it turns into a Robocop 3 turned Predator movie where multiple world kickboxing champ, Don The Dragon Wilson plays security officer, Eric and finds solace in a bunch of freedom fighters types and they are randomly killed off, one-by-one. This is the first Don Wilson movie I've seen and so far he's...... not bad, but he lacks personality and besides his martial arts and Asian looks, he doesn't have anything else going for him as an action star. It is schlocky in places no doubt. There are some boring parts, some bad visual effects when the Tracker villain is on fire, people get bumped off, the action isn't stellar, though given it is a Z-movie, it is watchable. Australian action movie actor, Richard Norton plays one of the douchey villains and I was expecting this film to be utterly terrible and a load of garbage. But, and to my surprise, it was certainly watchable. Obviously, this is no masterpiece, but it was convenient.

Is It Worth Watching?

If you are into '80s and '90s sci-fi action films, I'd say yes

Overall:
