Robin McLaurin Williams was a Chicago-born actor and comedian who worked the comedy club circuit. Williams's first acting role was in the revival of a comedy sketch show titled 'Laugh-In', back in 1977. But it was only until after rising to fame as the character, Mork on the smash-hit ABC sitcom, Mork & Mindy which lasted for a total of 4 seasons from 1978 - 1982 that he went on to establish a career in stand-up comedy & feature film acting. After starring in less commercially successful films during the early to mid-1980s, Robin made his breakthrough as disc jockey, Adrian Cronauer in 1987's Good Morning, Vietnam.
Williams was also known for his improvisational skills.
He has featured and starred in over 40 films as a feature film actor, both in starring, supporting and guest roles from 1977 up to 2014.
Reviews-wise, but for one or two exceptions, I mainly cover his movies from his formative years beginning in 1977, right up to 2013
Total number of reviews: 36
Julia Fiona Roberts is an American born actress and producer originally hailing from Smyrna, Georgia, who became a Hollywood star after headlining the romantic comedy, Pretty Woman which grossed over $460 million worldwide. After leaving her hometown, she quickly landed work as a model. But soon, the acting bug bit Roberts & she eventually landed films in Mystic Pizza and Steel Magnolias during the 1980s. Films such as Hook, Mystic Pizza, Sleeping With The Enemy, The Pelican Brief & Erin Brockovich have collectively brought in ticket receipts of over $2.7 billion.
Reviews-wise, I only cover a selection of her movies from her formative years beginning in 1988, right up to today
