The A - Z Evolution of Robin Williams's Characters Illustrated

Here is the almost definitive list of fictional & factual characters as played by the late, great Robin Williams during the past 4 decades throughout his acting career, as illustrated in alphabetical order. I say almost because there are a few other characters I left out, simply because they were relatively much smaller roles.

The names in bold highlight a) the movie they were in that was hugely successful and/or b) were characters in projects that I have enjoyed watching.

I still stand by what I said before about Robin being a character actor because that was the type of actor and performer he was: the vast array of personalities and characters in a range of mediums, particularly in film is truly something to behold. Beginning as a stand-up comedian and later transitioning to TV and film acting, Robin wasn't the performer who chose to stick with one style, but to experiment with and branch out towards other genres and forms of audio-visual entertainment, as well as play a huge diverse set of characters that hail from different backgrounds & circumstances and lend his voice-acting talents to numerous animated children's movies and cartoons through the work he undertook.
